What is Google Docs?

How can I use Google Docs in my classroom?

All faculty and students have an account already set up on Google Docs - please see Ed Curtin for login information.

Many of the same features you can use within Microsoft Office applications, you can also use within Google Docs - with the added bonus of collaborative editing! Here are some great ways to use these apps:

  • Collaborative projects
  • Class websites
  • Interdisciplinary unit plans
  • Student surveys (Google forms)
  • Formative assessments throughout the research/writing process
